• How is the tile priced?

The tiles are priced by modular sizes: small square, rectangle and large square.  The three sizes represent 1, 2 and 4 square feet in that order.

• What is the minimum square footage I can order?

The minimum is 6 square feet, example 1 large square tile and 1 rectangle.  Samples are available which are smaller in size.

• How heavy is one collage tile?

A square foot or, the small square weights 4 ½ pounds or 2 kilos.   A large square modular panel weighs 18 lbs. or 8 kilos.

• What is the minimum and maximum thickness of a collage tile?

Minimum thickness is ¾” / 18mm, maximum thickness is 2 ½” / 6.3mm.

• How do I install the collage tiles?

See instructions on two methods of installation, one as a wall hanging, the other permanent.

• Can it be installed outdoors?

Collage tiles can be installed in covered areas outdoors that are protected from direct sun and moisture.

• How do I clean the collage tiles? 

Clean the tiles as you would furniture dusting and wiping with soft dry towel. 

• How do the edges look?

The MDF backer board and wood front are visible at the edges, the ´sandwich’ of materials is finished but the MDF is visible.

• How does the back look?

The back face is smooth MDF panel.

• Can I add trim around the edges?

A thin ¾” x 1” piece of trim of same wood and finish can be special ordered in 2 foot sections to trim edges. The trim must be installed after collage is hung using small brad nails.   Trim can be requested and is charged separately.

• How long does it take to produce?

All collage is made to order, delivery times range from 4 to 12 weeks.

• How is it shipped?

Collage tiles are shipped boxed and ready to install from the shop in Guadalajara Mexico or from Laredo Texas.

• Can I request a custom size collage tile?

Custom sizes are available to ease installation.  Pricing is available on request.

• How do I choose the tiles and pattern needed for size of my mural?

There are 3 suggested patterns to chose from in the ordering section of the website.  

• Which wood do you use to produce the collage tile/s?

We use a mix of woods which is scrap collected from furniture factories. 

• What finish do you use?

We use a combination of water based paint with a lacquer top coat.  The natural finish is 100% lacquer.  Both are rubbed with wax prior to shipping.

• Can I order sample/s before placing order?

Yes, samples are free of charge but we ask clients to pay for shipping.

• Can I have a custom finish/ color?

Custom finishes and colors are available on request

•  How do I turn corners within the collage mural ?

Custom inside or outside corner panels can be made for surcharge, request a layout and quote from customer service via email.
